Scurid and Microsoft for Startup

Introduction

Scurid Inc. is a software technology Startup enabling IIoT and autonomous edge system’s identity security at a highly distributed scale. We’re working towards the mission to accelerate the adoption of secure autonomous systems with trust.

Background: Scurid’s interest in Microsoft for Startup Scurid is developing distributed ID stack which is already delivering value to its early adopters. To accelerate Scurid’s software delivery and to help our customers scale according to their needs. We’re designing our architecture to be both on-premise and multi-cloud ready. This means that customers can easily run Scurid on-premise or on any cloud platform and grow from local deployment to global scale.

To help our customers scale from local to global deployment without the infrastructural overhead we have been working on Scurid’s Managed Services product offering.

Microsoft Azure offers a swath of cloud services including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure IoT, and a variety of databases as a service within Azure databases offering.

This allows us to offer our customers Scurid’s identity platform for their IIoT edge devices without worries of handling the infrastructure behind it.

Current state…

Since getting accepted into the Microsoft for Startups program in 2021, we have been using Azure to develop and deliver our managed services product (alpha release) not only in Japan but also in Europe. It has helped us to quickly deliver high-performing infrastructure for our PoCs and developer’s licenses with data security across borders.

Future …

R&D continues for upcoming release integrating closely with Azure IoT for our customers who are working with Azure IoT Technology or looking to adopt smart and connected operations, services, or manufacturing using Azure.
